We have been having our small film library opened for the public since April 2014. The library has a rare collection of hundreds of books and studies in Arabic about Egyptian, Arab and world cinema.

 

When we moved to our current office, Maher Sherief; a friend of ours was generous enough to donate to us his personal book collection, which was more than 250 film books, booklets and magazines, that he was collecting for years. Since then many visitors and filmmakers have been donating their own books and collections, that now we need to get more shelves to have all these great books.

We also have a good collection of DVDs for Arabic and international films, that film lovers can watch or organize movie nights in our screening area. In addition to our collection of films, we have a selection of Arabic independent films distributed by the Berlin based distribution company mec film.
